Message they could be simply hitting your tow hooks.
Don't forget that when the car runs rough
the entire exhaust from the headers back will
be shaking...just a small symptom of rough
running.

AIV gurgling is a distinct noise, and it sounds
just like you would assume: gurgling
Listerine in your mouth. Totally different than
metal clanging/rattling.

Inspect your PCV valves by doin a vacuum
test if budget is a major issue...I would ideally
replace them along with new hoses. New
gasket is in order. If budget is not an issue,
take off the plenums and valve covers,
replace the oil soaked gaskets and do your
knock sensor and the 120K all in one shot.
Kyle at IPP can give you a parts list, will cost
about 1K in parts. If you plan on keeping the
motor and it's compression is good, this is the
route you should take.

EGR delete would happen at that time, so
foget that. IAA wodnt be effected, entire
system rests on side or on top of plenum,
look for Robos writeup on refreshing it. O2
sensors should be replaced anyway.

Put the car on a lift and inspect all heat
shields and metal clamps on exhaust/fuel
tank/cat shields etc. Guarantee you will find a
fair share of rusted off shields or sheared
bolts.
